Someone on our Facebook page wanted to see how my Curlformer set turns out so here it is. Side note: I've been giving Curlformers a lot of publicity lately. No, they don't pay me and haven't provided me with any products. I got most of my Curlformers from the Original Curly, AKA my mom.
I only sat under the dryer for about thirty minutes. Then I went and did housework for a couple of hours. To my surprise, my hair was dry within two hours. (It takes two hours to dry with traditional rollers under a hot hood dryer.) I carefully took the Curlformers out, being sure to squeeze the ends so my hair didn't frizz. Most of it came out very well but the best curls where the smallest sections.
I've been enjoying a fuller look lately so I decided to separate the curls. I used a little more of the Bee Mine Curly Hold Butter on the tips of my fingers to prevent frizzing while I pulled the curls apart. This was my one regret. It worked initially but the wetness of the product made my hair start curling up a bit taking away some of the smoothness of the look. Next time I will use a heavier butter with a more oily than wet consistency. All in all, I'm pleased!
